Not at all! Our workshops are beginner-friendly and guided step-by-step.
All our workshops last between 60 and 90 minutes.
Workshops are limited to a maximum of 12 guests to maintain an enjoyable, interactive atmosphere. Scented Candles and Massage Candles workshops generally run 1¼ to 1½ hours. Wax Melts workshops tend to run a bit longer, 1½ to 2 hours.
You’ll take home one finished candle (scented or massage) or a set of wax melts, depending on your workshop. If you join a Wax Melts workshop, you will also receive a complimentary wax warmer + tea lights so you can enjoy your melts right away at home.
Note that massage candles need about 2 hours to fully set, and regular scented candles need about 1 hour. You’re welcome to pick up your candle later the same day or on another day if you prefer not to wait.
Walk-ins are welcome if there are remaining slots for the next class. We please ask walk-ins to either call in advance or show up 10 minutes before the start of a class so that they can be properly accommodated.
We understand that plans can change. Our workshops have limited seating, and materials are prepared in advance. For this reason, the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellations made at least 10 days before the start of your workshop are fully refundable.
Cancellations made between 72 hours and 10 days before the workshop are refundable minus a 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable.
You may reschedule your booking up to 72 hours before the start of your workshop at no extra cost, pending availability. Reschedule requests made less than 72 hours before the workshop begin are treated as cancellations and are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you’re welcome to send a friend in your place at no additional cost—just email us their name prior to class.
By booking a workshop, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your workshop so you don’t miss the introduction and setup. If you arrive late, you may miss the opening explanation and instructions, but you’ll still be able to follow our recipe cards, and our team will be happy to help you get up to speed when possible. Just note that we can’t extend the class time, and late arrivals may have a shorter experience.
Our studio is BYOB-friendly. To maintain a comfortable environment for everyone, we only allow seltzers, beer, and wine as alcoholic beverages. Guests must be 21 years or older to bring or consume alcohol on the premises.
To ensure a clean and safe environment, we kindly ask that food not be brought into the studio once the workshop has started and until everyone has finished pouring their candle. This helps us avoid any mess and prevents the mixing of food smells with our carefully selected scents. If you need a quick snack, please enjoy it away from the workshop tables to avoid disrupting the experience for others. Thank you for your understanding!
