Our kids' candlemaking party is a 2.5-hour private workshop. Here’s how it flows: 1. Welcome + quick safety intro 2. Wax melt creation (fun shapes + colors) - kids will create wax melts as candle toppers to decorate their candles. This part of the activity will be strictly supervised (1 instructor for every 2 kids) to ensure that kids use wax safely. 3. Guided sand candle layering (color + pattern design) 4. Snack / cake break (if you decide to bring food) 5. Packaging their creations to take home The entire workshop is structured, creative, and calm, but also allows full rein for creativity to be unleashed!

Each kid creates: • 1 custom layered sand candle • A set of custom wax melts as toppers to decorate their candles (clouds, stars, hearts, flowers, bears, etc) They choose colors, layer patterns, and personalize their design. Every candle looks different.

Sand candles are a fun and creative style of candle-making where colored wax granules (that look like sand and are eco-friendly) are layered inside a jar to create beautiful patterns and designs. Instead of pouring hot liquid wax like traditional candle-making, kids get to: • Choose different colors of sand wax (sky’s the limit!) • Layer them into patterns • Create stripes, swirls, or custom designs Once finished, we provide a set of 12 mini wicks to place in the center, and then the candle is ready to take home and use. Sand candles are also designed with an added safety feature: the loose, plant-based wax beads can smother the flame quickly if the candle is knocked over, helping reduce fire risk by cutting off the wick’s oxygen supply. This makes sand candles a much more kid-friendly format than traditional hot-pour candle making.

Kids can choose from up to 5 kid-friendly fragrances (e.g., strawberry, fruit loops, sugar crystals, etc.) to scent their sand candles. Fragrances are added in a controlled manner with droppers. We can also not offer scents during the experience if that is preferred by you.

Absolutely! We use kid-safe materials and controlled processes. All hot wax handling is strictly supervised. ✔ Two instructors lead the workshop ✔ Clear safety instructions are given ✔ Materials are pre-measured ✔ No open flame during the event Safety is our number 1 priority.

We recommend ages 7–12. Kids should be able to follow instructions and participate independently in a guided activity.

We can host up to 12 kids. Our space is intentionally intimate so that every kid receives attention and guidance.

The private booking is 2.5 hours total. This includes: • 1h45 min of crafting time • 30 min food/cake break (if you choose) • 15 min wrap up, packing candles, and clean-up

We ask that 1-2 parents stay during the workshop (usually the hosts). Additional adults should plan to drop off unless otherwise arranged.

Yes! You’re welcome to bring: • Snacks • Cake • Drinks We provide the creative experience, you bring the celebration! Please make sure to let us know if you plan on bringing food so that we can set up a dedicated area for the food.

Yes! You’re welcome to bring light decorations to personalize the space for your child’s celebration. We recommend keeping décor simple and easy to set up within 15 minutes prior to your booking window. If you’re planning something more elaborate, feel free to reach out in advance so we can coordinate timing.

Absolutely! Custom candle labels are a fun way to personalize the experience. You can: • Add the birthday child’s name • Include the party theme • Add a special message or date If you'd like custom labels prepared ahead of time, let us know during booking so we can coordinate design details. Personalized labels make the candles feel even more special, and they double as a take-home party favor.
